| Product description | Metconazole is a triazole fungicide discovered by Kureha Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (Japan) in 1986, announced in 1992, and first marketed in France in 1994. It acts as a C-14 demethylation inhibitor in ergosterol biosynthesis, inhibiting the elongation of pathogenic fungal mycelia and preventing spores from penetrating crop tissues. It provides broad-spectrum fungicidal activity with excellent protective, curative, and systemic properties. |
